Eu e meu cavalo - Alice

Fotografia precisa ser algo que se conecte com você, precisa contar a sua história. Por mais que a gente trabalhe na praia e fazer fotos é essencial, mas a ideia é sempre ter uma história! Por mais que a maioria se conecte a praia de fato. Mas no final a maioria dos meus trabalhos giram em torno de pessoas que tem uma história a ser contada, porque está aqui e fazendo as fotografias comigo! Acredito muito que esse blog, onde conto todas as histórias, inspiram esses momentos acontecerem. Cada um tem seus sonhos e histórias por trás de uma foto aqui no Nordeste, principalmente na praia. Seja ela de ter o sonho de vir pela primeira vez na praia, de trazer o filho para a praia que passou a lua de mel, são tantas histórias. Eu fico super feliz em saber que meu trabalho faz parte nesse sentido, que são coisas que se compartilham, alinham.

Tudo isso que falei foi para fizer que realmente acontece e foi assim com a Alice. Do interior para o mundo, para o Brasil, por mais que as fotos foram feitas na praia, não deixou de ter o que ela mais ama. Isso que é lindo de poder fzer a fotografia gritar um sentimento. A gente não deixou de fazer as fotos na praia, tivemos um momento em que fizemos com aquele cenário de praia, saída de banho, todas aquelas roupas praianas!
Mas no fundo, o que ela ama é ser boiadera! Porque não poder fazer isso? Sim, esse foi as fotos dos 15 anos da Alice, aqui a gente contou realmente o que precisa ser contado. Sempre falo que fotos de 15 anos precisam ter a essência de cada um, na verdade qualquer uma, mas especificamente nas fotos de 15 anos, precisamos respeitar a individualidade, desejo de cada um! Todos nós temos sonhos, nesse momento o sonho são totalmente delas. Fico muito feliz em fazer parte de uma sessão que foi feita do jeitinho que ela sonhou. Lógico que se pudesse Alice tinha trazido seu próprio cavalo, mas acredito que seria inviável, HAHA.

Mas demos um jeito e fizemos as fotos da Alice boiadera com um cavalo na praia. Por incrivel que parece, até meio que proposital mesmo as fotos ficaram bem cinemáticas. Como funciona na cabeça da gente a inspiração! Hà pouco eu tinha acabado de assistir Yellow Stone, um seriado americano sobre uma gigante fazendo de gado! Para resumir, fizemos duas sessões no mesmo dia, uma no nascer do sol, pegando mais praia mesmo e a tarde no pôr do sol, fizemos com o cavalo. Como a cabeça da gente é movida por inspirações, dizer que a minha é 24h sem parar de pensar, filmes se passando a todo momento, tudo vira foto, é surreal. Quando ela estava com o cavalo parecia que eu estava assistindo o seriado, até a trilha sonora vinha lá no fundo, tocando bem baixinho na cabeça!
Essa foi a primeira oportunidade que tive de fazer fotos com cavalos aqui em Porto de Galinhas e te dizer, é incrível poder trabalhar com um animal que transmite tantos sentimentos, é incrível o poder que ele tem. Alice que desde pequena participa de competições e sabe o respeito que precisa ser, parecia que eles se conheciam à muito tempo, foi lindo de ver!

Photography needs to be something that connects with you, it needs to tell your story. Even though we work on the beach and taking photos is essential, the idea is always to have a story! Even though most of my work is connected to the beach itself. But in the end, most of my work revolves around people who have a story to tell, because they are here and having their photos taken with me! I truly believe that this blog, where I tell all these stories, inspires these moments to happen. Everyone has their dreams and stories behind a photo here in the Northeast, especially on the beach. Whether it's the dream of coming to the beach for the first time, bringing their child to the beach where they spent their honeymoon, there are so many stories. I'm super happy to know that my work is part of this, that these are things that are shared, that align.

All of this I've said is to show that it really happens, and that's how it was with Alice. From the countryside to the world, to Brazil, even though the photos were taken on the beach, it still captured what she loves most. That's the beautiful thing about being able to make photography scream a feeling. We didn't stop taking photos on the beach; we had a moment where we did it with that beach setting, a beach cover-up, all those beach clothes!
But deep down, what she loves is being a cowgirl! Why couldn't she do that? Yes, these were Alice's 15th birthday photos, and here we really told what needs to be told. I always say that 15th birthday photos need to have the essence of each person, actually anyone, but specifically in 15th birthday photos, we need to respect the individuality and desires of each person! We all have dreams, and at this moment, the dreams are entirely hers. I'm very happy to be part of a session that was done exactly as she dreamed. Of course, if she could, Alice would have brought her own horse, but I believe that would have been unfeasible, HAHA.

But we found a way and took Alice's cowgirl photos with a horse on the beach. Incredibly, and almost intentionally, the photos turned out very cinematic. How inspiration works in our minds! I had just finished watching Yellow Stone, an American series about a giant cattle herder! To summarize, we did two sessions on the same day, one at sunrise, mostly on the beach, and in the afternoon at sunset, we did one with the horse. Since our minds are driven by inspiration, to say that mine is constantly thinking, movies playing all the time, everything becomes a photo, it's surreal. When she was with the horse it felt like I was watching the series, even the soundtrack was playing softly in the background!

This was the first opportunity I had to take photos with horses here in Porto de Galinhas and let me tell you, it's incredible to be able to work with an animal that transmits so many feelings, it's incredible the power it has. Alice, who has participated in competitions since she was little and knows the respect that needs to be shown, it seemed like they had known each other for a long time, it was beautiful to see!
